When Lynette began looking for a photographer, she stumbled across my website. She sent me a great introductory email and after a little bit of time writing back and forth, she let me know she discovered we have a mutual friend. My college friend, Christine, and Lynette go to the same church. I photographed Christine’s wedding three years ago and Lynette didn’t originally know that when she inquired about her upcoming wedding date. Sometimes the world is so surprisingly small!
Meeting Lynette and Jesse in-person at their Bull Creek Park engagement session was nothing short of amazing. We had an incredible time laughing and joking together, walking through the (somewhat murky) water together, and discussing life. They are one of those couples that a) could pass for models, and b) has this chemistry that makes my job so incredibly easy. Jesse knew just what to say to make her laugh, and Lynette just radiates happiness and joy.
I am so looking forward to photographing Jesse and Lynette’s wedding in a few weeks. I’m hoping for a lovely fall day with cool-ish weather because while these two look like nothing in the world could have phased them, they’re also amazing actors — we were pushing through some crazy Texas October heat!
