I am a University of Texas School of Architecture graduate. I decided a little way into the program that interior architecture was more appealing to me so I made the official transition. It was because of this that I met Emily. She was a year ahead of me and we frequently shared long, sleepless nights in the same studio (or computer lab) together frantically wrapping up projects.
I had this feeling of wanderlust after I graduated and began searching for jobs in California. Emily had moved there for a job with a great firm and was an awesome, helpful contact for me when I interviewed there, too. It turns out that I didn’t take a job with her design firm, nor did Dustyn and I stay in California for very long, but that doesn’t mean I wasn’t extremely excited when Emily emailed me about her upcoming wedding.
She and Keith are doing something so fun and exciting for their wedding day. I’m going to keep that a surprise so when I share the photographs, you’ll get to experience it for the first time without any preconceived ideas. If their engagement session at Bull Creek is any indication of how lovely these two are, I’m beside myself giddy for their wedding day.
Thank you, Emily and Keith, for wandering with me. Thank you for allowing yourselves to get caught up in the moment and just be to capture some really incredible moments. Walking barefoot through the water, climbing rocks, and seeking out beautiful light was such a pleasure with you two.
