This post? It’s long, long overdue. You know how you hold onto things because you don’t want to let them go? In a way, I feel that by sharing Betty and Travis’ Barr Mansion wedding, I’m admitting that it’s over. And their wedding day was so phenomenal I just want to cry. I don’t want it to be over.
Betty has become a lovely friend that you’ve seen pop up on the blog more than a time or two (her bridals | their engagement session | our lunch date). I admire and appreciate her friendship so very much. You’ll see below that she made sure a photograph was captured opening the gift she gave me on her wedding day. (Note: that was back when I had red hair. Seeing these photos again makes me really miss the red hair. Sigh.)
Looking through these photographs has been such a delight and joy because not only am I reliving this day, but I feel like I’m gaining a whole new appreciation for it — the details, the relaxed atmosphere, the tearful first look. It all came together so beautifully.
So much so that this Barr Mansion wedding is going to be split into multiple posts because I would break your internet otherwise. ;)
Stay tuned for more of Betty and Travis’ Barr Mansion wedding!
