Just a little over a year ago, I photographed Betty and Travis’s Barr Mansion wedding. Sigh. A whole year has passed since then and it feels like time has FLOWN. However, there’s one thing I’m extremely, extremely grateful for. Staying in contact with sweet, amazing Betty who loves to gush over makeup and nail polish with me. With whom two hours breeze by and we feel like we have tons more to talk about before we say goodbye.
I can’t say it enough — I am so incredibly thankful for my job. And the brides (couples) that I get the opportunity to meet. This feels like such a rarity in the workplace and it’s so refreshing to think of my work as more of relationships and not something I have to do.
One year ago at Betty and Travis’s photo booth — when I was a red head (I’m blonde now).
And yesterday — Betty holding my new baby girl, Everett. (I will share a photo of her face soon, I promise. I’m wanting to mail out her newborn announcements before I formally share all the photos online. There’s something so nice about receiving a surprise in the mail, don’t you think?) Also note that the photo below is an iPhone photo. :)
And just for reference and nostalgic purposes, here is Betty’s Barr Mansion bridal session.
