Tons of people are suffering from spring’s somewhat early arrival in Austin right now, myself included. Hello, allergies! (Yuck.) The positive is that beautiful green grass and blooming plants and longer days are ahead!
On the day of my Barr Mansion bridal session with Betty, it was uncharacteristically warm. As in 85 degrees or so. In January. There was no need to worry about freezing while we were enjoying the sunny day, but oh man — we were so worried about what Betty’s February wedding day was going to be like. (Don’t worry — it wasn’t 85 degrees or raining or freezing — it was pretty darn near perfect.)
This was my first portrait session to shoot at the Barr Mansion, but man, oh man. Even as we were leaving I kept thinking, “I want to go there… and there… and there.” It’s so beautiful, so well-taken care of, and lovely.
Thank you so much to the staff at the Barr Mansion for being so accommodating and allowing us to spend the afternoon with you.
I’m so glad these lovely ladies came along to help out (and to keep Betty and I company!) during the session. Best mom and bridesmaid ever!
