I may have gushed and gushed about Taylor and Rebecca and their Texas Old Town Wedding, but rightfully so. I love them! We met up for a day-after session after their wedding to take photographs along South Congress, a few old buildings near Town Lake, and then meandered along Town Lake for a while. They brought their adorable dog, Ruby, along for part of the session and she was such a show-stopper. She loved the people watching and didn’t seem too bothered that I wanted to take photographs of her.
I’m so, so in love with Rebecca’s wedding dress and Taylor’s spiffy suit. I’m so glad they decided to do an outfit change into their wedding attire. I don’t know if you’ve ever personally been on Town Lake when there is a couple in wedding clothes, but I hope you get to experience it at some point in your life. People honk as they drive by, wish you congratulations as they run by, and stop to tell brides how gorgeous they are. It’s one of the best experiences. We happened to be on Town Lake on a Wednesday, but ironically, it was 12/12/12 (which happened to be a popular wedding date) so everyone did think these two lovebirds had just gotten married that day.
