Happy 2012, friends! It’s so great to be back. I’m feeling revived and excited about the new year. I have several things from the end of 2011 to share with you.
The first of those being Christine and Michael’s engagement session!
Christine and I met while we were in the Interior Design program in the School of Architecture at UT. The program was tiny. There were eight of us to graduate from this program. We spent most waking hours (and many of the hours we should have slept) together and practically had every class together. I adored meeting Christine in college. She’s kind and patient and has the sweetest laugh in the entire world. I always admired her love for meticulous details, her neatness and precision, and the heart she put into every project. Even in school, Christine would not move forward with a design that she wasn’t fully invested in.
That’s precisely how I know Michael’s exactly the right guy for her.
These two are so perfectly paired. The places we went are loved by them for various reasons – because they like to visit museums together, because they would visit that particular park to talk and get to know one another, or because that park is where Michael helped Christine study for (and ace!) her NCIDQ professional licensing test.
I am so thankful to be your wedding photographer, Christine. Michael – it’s a joy to get to know you – to see how you make my friend light up and fill this world with the sound of her sweet laughter.
