There are people who come into our lives that just impact us. They are a joy to know. They make your day brighter and your smile stretch from ear to ear.
Shelly is one of those people.
I gushed about her in the post I did of her bridal portraits. I hadn’t met Lance until their wedding day, but I knew that Shelly had chosen a guy that was going to appreciate all the same things about her that I do. Lance is a very laid-back, chill guy. He’s a bit shy, but when surrounded by his groomsmen, who know how to dance and crack a good joke, he can’t wipe the smile off his face. I’ve never seen a groom more calm and put together as Shelly walked down the aisle toward him. Shelly and her dad grinned and smiled the entire journey down the stairs and down the aisle.
Joyful. That’s the word I would use to pinpoint exactly how this day felt. Not a care or worry in the world. A huge, tremendous thank you to this beautiful family for welcoming me into their lives and for allowing me to document Shelly and Lance’s wedding. I’ve had a great deal of trouble narrowing down the images for this post; tomorrow you’ll get to see part two. Come back to see if you were caught bustin’ a move on the dance floor. You also won’t want to miss Shelly and Lance’s portraits after the ceremony. Breathtaking.
