On the day of my first meeting with Sabrina and Corey, I was headed to San Marcos to photograph Bobby and Liz’s engagement session after the meeting. Since I needed to make sure that traffic on I-35 didn’t prevent me from travelling to San Marcos on that Sunday afternoon, I let Sabrina and Corey know my schedule. Our meeting was so much fun – we talked about how they met, bounced around ideas for their color scheme, discussed inspiration and projects they were working on, and why they had moved to Houston.
When I glanced down at my watch, I couldn’t believe how quickly time had flown by. My husband asked me later that evening about the meeting and how it went. My response was, “I would really love to work with them. I think their wedding will be awesome, and I’m so excited about all the details they’re putting together.”
Sabrina contacted me later that week to let me know they had decided to hire me as their wedding photographer. I did a happy dance in my office, and she and I began our back-and-forth Pinterest idea link swapping. It’s so much fun to be working with two people who introduced me to a new site for their engagement session, who are excited about photography, and enjoy geeking out over all the details with me on Pinterest.
Please allow me to introduce Sabrina and Corey (and Zoe – their playful and loving dog)!
