As we’re sitting… waiting… in an airport in Athens to board our flight to Toronto, I couldn’t help but pull out my laptop to work on Paige and Matt’s awesome engagement photos. They are getting married in December. We got together recently for dinner (since Matt had just relocated to Austin where he and Paige will live after they’re married) and a relaxed photo session in a wide open field. I did not get to meet Matt when I had my first consultation with Paige. He was still tying up loose ends back home, and I was so thrilled they agreed to sit down and send some time together first. I think maybe from now on, every session should start with a good dinner. We got to talk, relax, hand out, get to know each other better – all before jumping into a photo session where they needed to be super relaxed so their personalities could shine through.
I’m absolutely certain that who they are and how much they adore one another comes through in these photos. I have been poking my husband’s side to ask him, “Do you like this one or this one better,” feeling very much like an eye doctor all because I want to blog every. single. one. of their engagement photos.
