Jackie and David were married at the beautiful Trattoria Lisina winery in Driftwood, Texas. The wedding began in the morning so the ceremony could comfortably be outside before the Texas heat became unbearable. I arrived early and spent time photographing the winery, Jackie’s dress, and all the activity in the bridal room as Jackie was pampered to perfection. The winery left a bottle of Prosecco in the room and plenty of glasses to toast the day and Jackie and David’s marriage.
One of my favorite visitors in the bridal suite was Jackie’s niece; she was joyful and so interested in seeing her aunt transform into a beautiful bride. She sat on Jackie’s lap for a little while and watched in wonder. You’ll see a photograph below of Jackie’s hair being covered in hairspray and Jackie shielding her nieces’ eyes.
My favorite bit of eye candy awaits you at the very end of the post. Jackie and David provided lunch and treats for their wedding guests at the winery. The lunch looked mouth-watering, and the cupcakes were so picturesque. I just had to photograph each one individually. This was definitely another favorite moment. David’s daughter was so excited for the wedding and overwhelmed by the emotion of it all, that she cried happy tears of joy. David did such a beautiful job talking to and loving on her.
