There’s just so much to say about Ashley and Chris’ wedding day that I don’t really know where to start. I suppose I’ll start by saying that I had such a hard time figuring out which images to post on the blog. I had so many flagged to post that I couldn’t possibly put them all up. To friends and family, please make sure you check out the slideshow here because I’m sure you might find yourselves in the mix… dancing the night away.
Ashley and Chris’ wedding is one of my favorite kinds – the ones where I get to spend almost the entire day with them as they show up, get ready, and prep all the final details. I had no worries about their wedding day because Ashley, her sister, Brittany, and her mom Melonie met me at the venue, Kindred Oaks earlier in the week. We walked through all the specifics and really nailed down their timeline so we were all the same page. Things were extremely stress-free on the wedding day; the weather had been SO cold leading up to their wedding; the day of… we had beautiful blue skies, warmer weather, and a beautiful ceremony that began at the peak time before sunset that evening.
Chris and Ashley really spent time walking around the reception to sit at each of the tables and talk with their guests. Some of my favorite photos are from the very end of the reception, when all the guests partied on the dance floor. Oh, and the exit shots with the sparklers. Don’t forget to look at those too!
Ashley and Chris, CONGRATULATIONS. Thank you for having faith and trust in me to be your photographer. I can’t wait for you to hurry back to Texas so we can do your trash-the-dress session!
