Austin Wedding Photographer | Married, Elizabeth and Brian

Back in August, a mere two months before their October wedding, I received an email inquiry for Elizabeth and Brian’s wedding. Before you think that they were a little late hiring their photographer, let me stop you now. Elizabeth and Brian had the severe misfortune of losing the initial photographer they booked due to an emergency situation. I opened up Elizabeth’s email one morning and was excited to see they were interested in me. I met them as quickly as I could so that should things not work out between us, they’d have time to find someone else. I am so happy that things have worked out as they did.

You see, not only have I had the chance to photograph Elizabeth’s beautiful bridals, but I’ve genuinely befriended her. The day I met to deliver her bridals to her, we sat and had coffee for two hours. Time passed quickly as our talk of the the wedding dissolved into more personal topics such as Elizabeth being an extraordinarily gifted opera singer, my background and jobs before I found photography, and our love for all things Broadway and musicals.  You see, I take my job very personally, and oftentimes my job doesn’t even feel like a job. I get the opportunity to get to know awesome people like Elizabeth so much that…

I almost started crying along with Elizabeth as she stepped into the Round Rock Children’s Chapel, her arm linked to her brother’s.

It took every ounce of her willpower (and mine) to fight back the tears as she looked down the aisle at Brian.  I adore the little looks they gave one another as they said their vows and exchanged rings. Their excitement was in full force when they departed the chapel and walked to the Rolls Royce Elizabeth had scheduled to drive them to Bella Notte.  Elizabeth and Brian, your wedding was an absolute blast. I have had extreme difficulty narrowing down your images for the blog post. Thank you for allowing me to step in as your photographer; I am so thankful your wedding day was available for me.  You are so incredible and I wish you a lifetime of happiness.

What a fun wedding. I really like the story you told of the wedding day. It’s so nice when you actually become a part of the family with your clients — the most rewarding things about photography, I think. :)

Great set. I love the mix of color and B/W shots. The shot of the couple in the car is amazing. Her blue eyes stand out in the red car.

Beautiful work, Magan! The shot of the bride with her back towards the camera and the green background should be framed as a giant art print. It’s wonderful :)

These are beautiful pictures of my beautiful friend, Liz! oh how I wished I could have been there! looks like an absolute blast, which isn’t surprising when Liz is involved ;-) Love everything to the last detail – the cake, the table decor, the pictures of you and Brian in the rolls royce. Classy and elegant, just like you, Liz! Miss you my friend!
