Lots of gorgeous summer weddings have been happening. I’ve been quite fortunate to be a second shooter for some amazing photographers. I’ll eventually get to share more work from those, but I want to respect the primary photographer’s as they surprise their clients with the work first. Francis Joseph (website here and blog here) has been kind enough to let me share a few of the images I captured at his May wedding.
K & E’s wedding was absolutely splendid. K was calm and relaxed – so excited about her wedding and eager to see E. I’ve primarily chosen images of K to share with you as they represent how gorgeous she looked, and some of my favorite moments of a wedding – the getting ready portion. K received an awesome bundle of individually wrapped boxes from E. I love this series as she opened the largest one… to reveal a gorgeous pearl necklace.
Then it was time for K to get in her dress. Her bridesmaids oohed and aahed over her. I mean, seriously, K had one of the most gorgeous wedding dresses I’ve ever seen. She looked STUNNING in it.
***Note to all future brides: see the contraption her bridesmaid is holding in the left picture? It’s a crochet hook. If you have pearls down the back of your dress with loops, invest in one of these. It will save you so much time and your bridesmaid’s fingers won’t hurt a bit!
And finally, this is K in all her glory. See, you agree with me… STUNNING!
Francis, it was an absolute pleasure to work with you. I look forward to the next one! Thank you for letting me blog a few of the images. K & E, thank you for allowing me to get to know you! Congratulations!
