Today, Amanda and Steve will walk down the aisle. In front of all their loved ones, they will profess their love and lifelong dedication to one another. I will probably be sobbing right along with the rest of the family as I’ve really gotten to know Amanda and Steve.
In early May, I photographed Amanda’s bridals at Mayfield Park. She had driven in from Dallas late the Friday night before, and had to turn around mid-way to get her veil. She didn’t arrive until well after 1:00 in the morning. Amanda had also woken up extremely early to meet with the lovely and talented Erica Gray for hair and make-up. She was a trooper though; I never even knew how tired she was until the end of our session when she told me what happened. I want to thank Amanda’s sister, Melanie, for coming along. She kept Amanda smiling and relaxed, and helped me adjust the dress and position the bouquet countless times.
Amanda, you are gorgeous and wonderful. Congratulations to you as you marry your best friend today. Friends and family, please sign up at the bottom of the post to receive a notification when Steve and Amanda’s wedding images are blogged and their private gallery is uploaded!
I just adore the photo on the left. Gorgeous eyes!
Amanda was up for anything. She climbed this wall and rocked it out. This shot shows off the gorgeous dress in all its beauty.
Amanda is most definitely wearing awesome boots with her wedding dress. You’ll have to wait for a post-wedding photo of them. I want to tie them in with the whole theme of the wedding.
A moment of perfect serenity. This gorgeous boulder rests among the trees. Isn’t it peaceful? I love how her dress (thanks to Melanie!) flows around her. LOVE it!!
Steve, you are one lucky man! Congratulations!
